His Sacrifice. Our Redemption.

About

Worthy Thou Art

Where the name comes from

In Revelation 4 and 5, everyone around the throne says it. Thou art worthy. Worthy is the Lamb. They give two reasons. He made all things, and He was slain to redeem us by His blood. That is His sacrifice and our redemption, and it does not change with the day we are having.

The hat

There is one hat. On the front is a cross, stitched into the hat itself, with a frame around it where the patch sits. The patch is yours to change. Leather, rubber, or embroidered, depending on the day you are having. The cross stays put no matter which one you wear.

The longer story

My husband survived a rollover the doctors said should have killed him, not long before he left the Air Force in 2008.

Years later, a head injury at work brought on constant vertigo. We went from doctor to doctor and did not get many answers. What finally helped was a rough at-home therapy that made him face the vertigo every day until it started to settle. Over the next year, it did.

The vertigo healed. The years in the service stayed with him in other ways, and that is why I run the day to day. He is still in all of it. A lot of what you see here started as an idea he threw at me in the middle of a conversation.

What else is here

The prayer wall is a place to leave a note or pray for someone who did. The devotions are short, for the days you need a word and not a sermon.

Now it's your turn.
